Mrkup.ai is built by a small team of AI engineers and strategy consultants based in Zurich, Switzerland. We started from a simple frustration — document review was still broken after years of AI tooling — and decided to fix it.
The problem we kept hitting

Full-stack engineers with backgrounds in LLM tooling, document processing, and developer infrastructure. Previously at AI labs and product companies across Zurich and Berlin.
Strategy & Consulting
Former consultants from McKinsey, BCG, and EY who spent years living the document review problem — long feedback loops, scattered notes, and slow revision cycles.

Product designers from the Zurich design scene with a focus on functional, minimal interfaces. No clutter — every pixel earns its place.
Based in Zurich, Switzerland — a city with a dense network of consulting offices, AI research labs (ETH, EPFL spinoffs), and engineering talent. That context shaped what we built.
What we believe

Files are encrypted at rest, never scanned, never used to train models. Delete a project and the file is gone. No exceptions.
A reviewer should never need to create an account or install anything. That friction kills collaboration. We remove it entirely.
